    Error 25002: Failed to load navinsnt.dll

    hello friends,

    I am facing an issue with my System,whenever i am trying to install or uninstall Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition client on my Windows computer after i select the default directory and then click the Next button: I am getting the following error message as follows

    Code:
    Error 25002: Failed to load navinsnt.dll
    I don't know whats the issue with my PC. Can anyone help me out with this.

    Sure i will help you out with this try to follow the below steps;-
    1. Click on Start.

    2. Type regedit in run Option

    3. Now Registry Editor windowwill get open and navigate to the following registry key:


      Code:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\FileSystem

    4. Double-click on NtfsDisable8Dot3NameCreation in the right-pane.

    5. Over here change the data in the Value data field from 1 to 0.

    6. Exit the Registry Editor and then restart your PC.

    7. Now try to Install Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition client on your computer.
    8. After the installation is complete, change the value of NtfsDisable8Dot3NameCreation back to 1.

    i was also facing such kind of issue i try to search Navinsnt.dll file and when found rename it to Navinsnt.bak. After renaming i restart the installation of Symantec AntiVirus againand it worked out for me hope it will work for you too.

    Note:
    If you are on a Windows 98 or Windows ME computer, search for the Navins95.dll file
