Hello , I Think you can Do This By Selecting the range you wish to 'invert' and copy. Then Edit > Paste Special and select the Transpose radio button.

Hello , you might be better off just doing the transpostion in excel. This is quite easy.

    1. Select (highlight) the data you want
    2. Click Edit,Copy (or ctrl-c)
    3. Click on a destination square (probably a blank worksheet)
    4. Click Edit, Paste Special, click the "Transpose" checkbox then OK.

Your data is now formatted the way sql wants it, so you can just import via you method of choice: DTS, etc...

Re: Rows and Columns in Excel are Inverted

Hello , You Can Do Like this

    • Create a new list (C1:C9) with the cell value of 1 in ever cell. Make the list as big as the other list (A1:A9).
    • Copy the first list A1:A9
    • Select C1:C9
    • Right click on selection and click “Paste Special…”
    • Click “Values” and “Divide” and then OK button!
    • Your list is now inverted!

if you want to do it yourself, programmatically, you can do it by excel automation, or, you can also do it before you ever put the data into the sheet.
