To test similarity of two images in Windows

hi friends,

I have Windows operating system at my place. I want to check two photos that appears to be similar......however there may be some difference since they both are captured differently.
My question is how can I test the similarity of two photos ?
Any ideas.........

First of all, you may need to resize the two images (that you want to test for similarity)
so that its dimensions are exactly same.

After that, you can superimpose those images one upon the another.
If they are exactly same, then both the images appear to be one....
If there are any differences, you may easily identify them....

But how to superimpose ??

Well, it's pretty easy to overlap or superimpose one image on another....

Just put each image in a layer and fiddle with the transparency of each layer.
For this, you can use the platforms like Photoshop or PaintshopPro.
