Mozilla Firefox saves information entered in web page forms and the Search Bar to make filling out forms and surfing faster.
To erase AutoComplete history in Firefox:
    • Select "Tools"
    • Select "Options".
    • Open the "Privacy" tab.
    • Click the "Clear" button in the "Saved Form Information" area.

To turn off Autocomplete in Firefox, remove the check mark from the "Save information I enter in web page forms and the Search Bar". Also see How disable AutoComplete forms in Firefox
You can also erase Firefox AutoComplete history using Clear All History "Clear browser history" feature for Mozilla.

AutoComplete is a feature that stores a list of everything you type in web pages (for example your name, e-mail address, credit card information, keywords you enter in search engines, etc). AutoComplete helps the user complete the form by suggesting possible matches - you can simply press the down arrow key and select the text without finishing typing. So anyone who has access to your computer can see a drop down list with information you've typed.

Re: How to Disable AutoComplete in Firefox ?

If auto complete actually means page history then how do I say auto complete?

I don't want to erase my history I just want ff3 to stop filling in the rest of the html for me unless I hit down and select a history item.

Like I'll type in Google.com and it grabs a random Google search from my history.

In order to actually type Google.com by itself I have to backspace all the stuff it appends to the end.

    Thanks for your time

If it can't be done, cool, just say so.
