Error Code 81000378 in Windows live messenger

Hello all,
I cannot sign in to windows live messenger. I am getting Error Code 81000378, when i try to sign in. Can anyone help? How to fix this?

First of all try to adjust your Microsoft Internet Explorer security settings as follows:

• Start Internet Explorer
• Click on tools menu
• Go to Internet Options
• Then click the Advanced tab
• In the Security section, make sure that the following check boxes are set correctly:

  Clear the Check for server certificate revocation check box
  Select the Use SSL 2.0 check box
  Select the Use SSL 3.0 check box

• Then click OK

Try to resister following DLL files. Click Start button =>Click Run and copy following in the run box by pressing Enter after each one:

REGSVR32 softpub.dll
REGSVR32 wintrust.dll
REGSVR32 initpki.dll
REGSVR32 Rsaenh.dll
REGSVR32 Mssip32.dll
REGSVR32 Cryptdlg.dll
REGSVR32 Dssenh.dll
REGSVR32 Gpkcsp.dll
REGSVR32 Slbcsp.dll
REGSVR32 Sccbase.dll

After each command is executed successfully, you will receive a "DllRegisterServer succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message before you run the next command. Reinstall the messenger and try to sign in.

Error code 81000378 usually occurs when there is a problem with the .NET Messenger service. one or more of the servers providing it might be down or having problems. Delete all the cookies and temporary files and run CCleaner and antivirus. Then try to login into messenger again.
