How to remove tabs in windows live messenger?

Hi,
I use windows live messenger. I just want to remove tabs from messenger. Is there any way to remove them. Can anyone tell me?

To disable the tabs to the right of your contact list follow these steps:

• Click Start button
• Click on Run
• Type regedit in the box and press Enter
• Browse following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\PerPassportSettings
• Select the DWORD DisableTabs
• If it is not there, create it by right-clicking, selecting New and then DWORD value
• Double-click it and change its value to 1
• Repeat this step for all number combinations
• Close and restart MSN Messenger

In Windows Live Messenger, there is product and service tabs (buttons) that are located on the left side of the main Windows Live Messenger window. To hide or remove the tabs follow the steps below:

• Click on Tools
• Go to Options
• Click on Tabs on the left column
• Check the Hide Tabs box
• Press OK

Now you will see the windows live messenger window without tabs.
