I guess you should download Messenger Plus! Live from the official site again (at least put it somewhere different e.g. if the original installer is on your desktop, then put the new installer that you will download in say My Documents to have it separated from the other installer). Try that and see if it will install.

Install MsgPlus in safe mode.

1. Restart your computer

2. Just after reading BIOS (memory, cpu, etc) before it starts loading Windows, press the F8 key repeatedly until you see the start menu.

If Windows starts to load, reboot again and this time press F8 repeatedly as soon as possible, until you see the menu.

3. Choose option 1, "Safe Mode", press Enter to continue.

Note: You can choose "Safe Mode with Networking, if you want to connect to the Internet or using the network in this mode.
