| Host file problem in windows live messenger
Hi everyone, I cannot sign in to windows live messenger. It says i have problem with host files. Can anybody help me fix it? Thank you in advance. |

Uninstall windows live messenger completely. Then run CCleaner. Upadte your antivirus and don't forget to do the full system scan. And see what result it shows. Delete all the files detected by it. Download and install windows live messenger. Hope it works. |

Delete the host files from C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. The hosts file has no extension and is just called "hosts". Its not that dangerous, rename the files and restart the computer. Mostly viruses and spyware use the hosts file. |
