To fix it you have to activate an option in Internet Explorer and TCP Messenger instructions:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Sign in Tools-> Internet Options-> Connections-> LAN Settings
  3. Check Automatically detect settings.
  4. Enter the messenger and go to Tools-> Options-> Connection-> Advanced Configuration and activates only TCP.

Hello,

Delete options Proxy in Windows Live Messenger:

WLM Open the menu "Tools" then "Options."

In the "Connection" tab, click the "Advanced Settings" and delete all the lines and then confirm with OK.
