AOL, a subsidiary of Time Warner, has unveiled a new version of its Winamp media player which is now in version 5.551. The feature-rich software and provides better synchronization tools. Winamp 5.551 opens some of its programming interface to enable web developers to integrate their Internet service within the player. For the launch, we find, among others, OurStage Radio, and Spinner SHOUTcast MP3 of The Day. In addition to a social dimension, these tools should allow for more information on artists and songs in its library. To this end, the site uses the Winamp AOL Music catalog to establish its own database of information.
Note that the service listening s'enrichit streaming AOL Radio stations from CBS Radio. Two new trading platforms are also emerging on the market 7digital Europe and Jamster. Finally, within Winamp 5.551, management of the iPod is notably improved with greater flexibility in the import of his iTunes library.
