MSN messenger 80070197 error

Hello there,
Today i was trying to connect MSN messenger. After getting connected i got following error: "we are unable to connect. 80070197"
What to do now? Can anyone help?

I think it is a proxy server error. Install new applications. Since that review Internet Proxy then it usually works. You need specific password or user to access. Proxy authentication required.

Go to tools =>Options =>Connections =>Advanced Settings. Make sure you got the HTTP Proxy settings configured properly, for example the password and username. If you do not want to remove these settings using the username and password etc., then see if the firewall is blocking the msn.

Press Start =>Run and type following (one at a time) and hit enter.

REGSVR32 wintrust.dll
REGSVR32 softpub.dll
REGSVR32 initpki.dll
REGSVR32 MSSIP32.DLL

And try again. Hope it works for you.
