Enormous files ?

I discover, while clicking on C: that I have, in the list, 2 enormous files and I wonder what they can be useful well:

Hiberfile.sys 1.048.164 KB

Pagefile.sys 1.572.864 KB

These monsters should be preserved?

I believe it that they are Windows files, necessary for the pagination and deactivation.

you can remove this file if you do not use the prolonged day before

The file “PageFile.sys is proportional to the virtual memory of your PC. If you decrease it, this file will decrease by as much but it should not be removed.

Good, for the file “hiberfile.sys” I decontaminated the prolonged deactivation, in the control panel, and it disappeared.

The file of exchange “Pagefile.sys”, I chose, in the properties of the work station for “Any file of exchange”.

It thus disappeared, but, n the other hand, I have create, because there was not, the key Dword IoPageLockLimit, with a hexadecimal value of 000F0000 since I have 1024 Mo of RAM

The key, automatically, was fixed to 983040 Mo of random access memory.

I hope that one will compensate for the other?
