| Today formula
I have formula that reads a cell if another cell equals today. Is there any way that this data can automatically frozen, so that the data remains when I open up the spreadsheet tomorrow. Example: =IF(A4+TODAY(),B4), where B4 is a date that I wish to capture a value and B4 is the reference value, which will change daily. I have a list of dates that I wish to self populate, but not lose the data when it changes to a different date, I hope this makes sense. |

If I am correct, you want the data in the cells that have been modified with the equality formula to be intact even after the date changes. I dont this such automatic freezing is possible... not sure. You can see here if it can help you, http://www.timeatlas.com/mos/5_Minut...Retains_Focus/ http://spreadsheets.about.com/od/exc...reeze_pane.htm |

| Re: Today formula
Thanks for trying, but the sites you referred me to were to freeze panes, what I am trying to achieve is freezing data after the event. |
