    Hey guys!
I have one old computer with only 128 MB RAM. And i plan to install linux on it. Which is the world's smallest linux operationg system. If its not linux then too it will do... Cause i have only 10GB hard disk and a CD-RW... This is my old computer and i will use this only for some multimedia application like hearing music. i don't play to use a monitor for that too...
    Any help?? Thanks in advance...!!

    Hey there...!!

Well yes there is a small Operating system for your granny age computer. Know as DSL Damn Small Linux.

Damn Small Linux or DSL is a free operating system for the x86 family of personal computers. It was designed to run graphical applications on older PC hardware for example, machines with 486/early Pentium processors and very little memory. DSL is a Live CD with a size of 50 MB. What originally started as an experiment to see how much software could fit in 50 MB eventually became a full-fledged GNU/Linux distribution. It can be installed on storage media with small capacities, like bootable business cards, USB flash drives, various memory cards, and Zip drives.

    Download DSL

The World's Smallest Operating System in true sense is : KolibriOS [Linux Variant]

KolibriOS also known as KOS and Kolibri; is a free operating system with a monolithic preemptive, real-time kernel, video drivers, for 32-bit x86 architecture computers, developed and maintained by The KolibriOS Project Team. KolibriOS is a fork of MenuetOS, written entirely in FASM (assembly language). However, C--, C, C++, Free Pascal, Forth, among other high-level languages and compilers, can also be used in user application development. KolibriOS is available in English, Russian and German.

ISO Size when Zipped : 2.8 MB
ISO size when unzipped : 4.36 MB

If I had a computer like that I would probably install Puppy Linux on it, even though it is a little larger than DSL and Kolibri.
