Best Screen capture software

I would like to know that is there any particular software by which i can capture video footage from lets say Real player. Which is the best and free software which allows me to do so? Does any one have any idea about it? Any idea on it would be appreciated.

I thinkIcyScreen is pretty good... it's more of an automatic screenshot/screen capture app that can e-mail and upload the screenshots (FTP, ImageShack) as well as save them to disk.

Good multiple monitor support, too.

The best software according to me is SnagIT. This is a fully functional tool for capturing whatever is running on your Desktop.
