Outlook 2007 stucks with "updating cached messages"

hie friends,

I am facing problems with my Outlook Express 2007. Everytime, when I open emails in my Outlook, the program simply stucks up with the following message on the screen - "updating cached messages". How can I stop this message from appearing on my screen? Someone please help to get rid from freezing / stucking of OE 2007.... thank you

hey Anas, what type of email account do you use?

Anyways, you can enable onenote in tools, trust center, addins. At the bottom, select disabled items from the dropdown menu. After enabling it, run office diagnostics.

The following Microsoft link provides all the necessary and detailed information on the cached messages in Outlook 2003. I think it would be same for Outlook 2007 as well...

I think the IMAP connection is slow due to which your Outlook 2007 is freezing off while opening the emails. Check your IMAP connection settings and use IMAP port 143.
