AMD has posted Friday evening the latest version of Catalyst drivers, for Radeon graphics cards. Stamped 9.2, these new drivers for Windows XP and Vista resolved by the manufacturer of many bugs, mainly related to functionality and settings Catalyst Control Center. The problem with the activation of anisotropic filtering for DirectX 10 games would be corrected.
AMD also announced an improvement in performance compared to its previous drivers in Crysis in DirectX 10, Crysis Warhead, also in DirectX 10, and World In Conflict. In the best case, the gains could amount to 20%, but in practice will be sensitive in the highest resolutions, all filtering enabled.
