Problem Updating NOD32 Antivirus Software

hi there

I am facing a big problem updating my antivirus software.

I am been trying to solve out NOD32 install as it is not updating the virus signature database. I usually get a message saying that it is at current update which is not possible.
The current database update it is showing one is 3553 from 20081024 last year.
Also when I add an update server manually option, it says you cannot because of bad server link. The license I am having is of 2 years which will get expired at 12 Jan 2011 and I get log out after that messsage.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I am not sure about this but;

Do you have the latest update module. I currently have Update module: 1024 (20080514) and I assume this must be the most recent update.

try to do this and see if it is getting fixed.

check this one:

make sure you are able to ping Eset's update servers

proxy settings in the NOD32 update setup. If no proxy is used, it MUST REMAIN DISABLED

if a firewall is used, make sure the NOD32 kernel service has access to the Internet allowed.

Your computer has illegal cracked version of NOD32 . Most likely ESET servers reject your cracked version from updating and don't allow it update/you are not protected , your signatures are obsolete , from 2005 . You need to uninstall that , including the so called Fix first.

If it was your friend , not you , who installed it , and if you like NOD32 , you should buy it and uninstall that crack version (you can try NOD32 first with legal version from ESET's site) . Otherwise you won't be able to enjoy full protection or support

Go to Start->Programs->ESET->
Press Uninstall Fix

Goto Start->Programs->ESET->Uninstall
Now reboot

After rebooting , manually delete the folder called "ESET" in C:\Program files

Depending where you are from , contact either ESET Sales Dept.
