    Cannot edit Send/Recieve Setting in Outlook 2007

    Hi friends,

    I am facing an issue with Outlook 2007,The send/receive settings option is disabled.When I trying to select any of the Tools/Send/Receive/ Send/Receive Settings options, they are disabled and they will not bring up the selected item from the menu. Can anyone tell me how I activate them?

    Following are my PC Configuration :-

    Intel Dual core 2.66 Ghz
    915 MSI Motherboard with Intel chipset
    2gb ram
    300 gb HDD
    9600 gt 512

    Sure i will help you out with this issue try to reinstall the Office and also check for Virus update.Hope it work for you.

    My Pc is Virus free and i have also try to re-install Office but still facing the same issue.Please provide me with a different solution.

    Following are my PC Configuration :-

    I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to Rest Outlook and it worked for me hope it will work for you also.

    Following are the steps for Resetting Outlook Template :-

    1. Reset the Outlook toolbar template. With Outlook close, Search for and rename outcmd.dat file. Restart Outlook. Do the same for outlprnt file.

    2. Register two important Outlook files. If using Windows xP, Click on Start, then go to Run and type regsvr32 OLE32.DLL and enter OK. Do the same for INETCOMM.DLL

    3. If you are not getting it , an addin could be corrupt. Disable Outlook Addins. For disable the addins Go to Tools - - > Trust Center - - > Add-Ins.

    4. Check if an external program running in the background is interfering with Outlook. Check Firewall, antivirus, antispyware, antispam, and all Norton programs. Disable these programs one at a time.

    5. Now Create a new Outlook profile.
