I am currently having 2 GB data available in inbox.dbx. But there is one problem with that. I am not able to see my mails as header corrupt the dbx files. This is very annoying. You can use DBX recovery tool from sysinfo tools. It will surely help you to recover your DBX files. Several times I used it, so I better know about its performance. You are just having 2GB of data, I had more than 2.5GB of data which I easily recovered from this tool.
