Error opening .msg files in Outlook 2003

In Outlook 2003 i am trying to open some saved .msg files .as I double click on file Outlook shows me the message "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook" (restarting does nothing). If Outlook is closed, I get the message "Unable to start Outlook."
can any boady help to find out what is wrong ? thank you .

Step 1: Locate the folder

The folder location is stored in the registry in the following key;
Outlook 97 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Outlook\Security
Outlook 98 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.5\Outlook\Security
Outlook 2000 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Security
Outlook 2002/XP HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security
Outlook 2003 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security
Outlook 2007 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security
Step 2: Get to the folder

1. Open the OutlookSecureTempFolder registry key from the location provided in Step 1.
2. Copy the path from the key.
3. Open Explorer
4. Paste the address in the Address Bar and press Enter

1. Install Google Desktop version 5.5.0709.30344-en-pb
2. Start Outlook
3. Try to open .msg file stored on hard disk OR open email as attached
to an email (embedded email) and nothing happens, file is not opened.

Notes:
1. I have Outlook 2003 (11.8118.8132) SP2
2. I noticed the problem ever since I upgraded to this version,
approximately 1 week ago. It worked fine with older version (not
known). I uninstalled Google Desktop and verified that Outlook works
correctly, msg file opens. I re-installed Google Desktop version
5.5.0709.30344-en-pb and problem is back.

The follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
3. In the Advanced Options window, click Custom Forms.
4. In the Custom Forms window, click Manage Forms.
5. In the Forms Manager window, remove all of the forms from the Personal Forms list.
6. Click Clear Cache in the Forms Manager window.
7. Click Close.
