Hi, after burning the first disk (1 of 2), the system told me that the burning failed. I tried several times, and the same scenario happened ... Any ideas how to fix this?

You would need to be able to find the files for those discs. They might be in the recovery partition. Try searching for files bigger than 1GB.
However, the reason I suggested Nero (or other burning application) is that you can try to burn a disc with anything, just to see if the optical drive itself is OK (Nero has a Verify feature that I always use).
If you can successful burn a disc with another application then the problem must be with either the recovery files or the program for burning them.
What burning software are you using? I guess the recovery disks must be in ISO format downloaded from certain source. The best tool available for burning ISOs is ImgBurn, a freeware utility that does nothing else but burn ISO images, and it does it well.
Open up ImgBurn, and then click on the "Browse for a file" button, selecting the ISO file you downloaded.
Put a blank CD into the drive, and then click the big Write button.
Now this will burn ISO contents to your disk. Download ImgBurn from imgburn.com
