K9 Web Filter working problem

I have been having a problem with K9 Web filter software, after installation on my PC after reboot my problems started, because for some unknown reason the program didn’t allow Windows start.I can reboot without any problem at the moment, I also use norton Antivirus. in task manager the K9 program is not running.I also got a page load error when try to run Firefox but can't establish a connection to the server. so please help me that what should i do.thank you.

there must be any problem regarding firewall so start computer in safe mode uninstall k9 reboot and try to install it again. configure norton firwall setting properly as it must not create any problem to k9

If you restore your Firefox connections to their un-proxied state, things should be back to normal.

- In Firefox: select Tools->Options->Advanced->Network->Settings. You will probably see the URL you quoted in the bottom window of Connection Settings. Assuming cable or DSL, select the top radio button {"Direct connection to the Internet") and thenn click Okay and Close the Options dialog.
