Pictures display problem in internet explorer

I am using windows xp and its internet explorer 7 for internet browsing. When i am save the web page using mozilla and try to reopen it from internet explorer, it does not show images.another thing is its open links in new tabs is not functioning if i want i have to open it in new windows.

i think may be your settings for "loading images" turned off on internet explorer so try this
go for Tools > Internet Options >advanced tab under the "multimedia" section and check "show pictures".

it is possible that your IE got corrupt due to spyware and Virus so scan your pc with updated antivirus for virus detection. also clear your ie catch and once run your IE in safe mode and try to open page in safe mode.
