Fast batch transcoder for mp3

hi i am using winxp sp2 and looking for good way to batch transcode mp3 files I have a some FLAC files which i require to transcode.I try transcoding with a some files using VLC but not interesting for me, I am looking for faster way to transcode.plese tell me if any one knows thank you.

try transcoding VB script.for the same reason i am using the batch transcoding VB script and It is more useful ,fast and user friendly. I added nice multithreading, freed the user from the command line, fixed a bug in the recursion, , and more to improve it
