Sent message still remian in outlook folder

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my Outlook. Whenever i am trying to send an email the email get delivery to the sender but it still remains in the Outbox Folder instead of Sent Items Folder.Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Sure i will help you out with this issue try to follow the below steps:-

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Goto Tools and select Options
3. From there select Send tab.
4. Put a check mark on the check box for option Save copy of sent messages.

Hope this would work with you it would happen that this option is not being selected.

I tried to follow the steps but it didn't worked out for me.Any other solution please.

I was also facing such kind of issue i tried to follow few steps like:-

1. First Compact all the folders in Outlook.
2. Have a backup of all the important emails, including your .pst folder also.
3. Now delete Outbox.dbx files.
4. Create new Windows user and import emails of which you had a backup.Now you would be able to see that sent message are not there in outbox folder after sending it.

Try to reinstall Outlook once and see i am sure it will work for you and imports all the emails which you had a backup of it.After doing this if you still face the same issue than try to Delete the files from Sent Items.It happens sometime that if your sent items folder is full the send items will remain in outbox folder and also remove unwanted files also.
