I have 2 questions:
I downloaded the latest version of Windows Live Messenger (2009) and I can no longer hear any sounds (wizz, alerts etc ...)
On the other hand, when someone sends me a file through MSN ... I can not open :??: while everything is going well with the old version ... I have followed the directions (well I think) but cant think about any possibilities. Thank you in advance for any help

It is normal that Windows Live Messenger Version 9 is full of bug.
For the transfer:
Config panel -> Add / Remove Programs, Select "Install Windows Live and let yourself be guided!

I do not agree, I have no problems for me. my side of the new version works perfectly and is stable. I have all the new features and I actually have sounds, my webcam works fine, you can put animated gifs in image perso, animated background, I can transfer files, share, etc.
