    An Internal Application error has occured in Windows Media Player

    Hi friends,

    I am facing an issue with my Windows Media Player.Whenever i am trying to open it i am getting an error message as "An Internal Application error has occured ".I am getting this error message from last few days.Can anyone provide me with a good solution solution.

    Try to follow this Steps:-
    1. Remove the earlier version of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

      • Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
      • Click the earlier version of Windows Media Player, and then click Remove.

    2. Reregister the Jscript.dll component. To do this, follow these steps:

      • Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
      • At the command prompt, type regsvr32 /u jscript.dll, press ENTER, and then click OK.
      • At the command prompt, type regsvr32 jscript.dll, press ENTER, and then click OK.
      • Restart the computer, and then test the issue that is described in the "Symptoms" section. If you still receive the error message, go to step 3.

    3. Download and install the latest version of Windows Media Player. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download

    There is one more way of doing it here it follows:-

    1. Click Start, and then click Run.
    2. In the Open box, type regsvr32 jscript.dll, and then click OK.
    3. Click Start, and then click Run.
    4. In the Open box, type regsvr32 vbscript.dll, and then click OK.
    5. Click OK.
