How to get back into my vista computer without my forgotten password?


I forgot what password is on my windows Vista computer. I'm not very computer savvy.. Should I call someone to have them fix this problem? Is there a way to reset the password without having one? I can't find any discs that will reboot the computer..

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

To use your password reset disk to reset your password

You will not be able to follow these steps if you have locked your computer.

1. If you have typed the wrong password, you'll receive a message that says your user name or password is incorrect. When this message appears, click OK.

2. Click Reset password, and then follow the instructions.
