Can't Burn Data In Nero

hi,
I have updated Nero Fast Burning CD Plug-in with all the dll files .installed new Nero StartSmart 7.11.10. Except for 4 files newtrf.dll,NeroApi.dll,NeroErr.dll,neroscsi.dll which is version 6.3.1.7
it works fine but it gives problem while burning data.it gives error "Power Calibration Error".
i can able to burn music, video, image butwont work with data.

Try this to slove the problem:

1. Click on START menu & go to RUN..
2. There in Run Prompt, type services.msc
3. In the Services Page, Search for "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service" & h highlight it..
4. Now, Right-click on it and select Properties
5. Change Startup Type as Disabled.

Hi,
i had also same problem burning data dvd's in nero. I thought it was the software, so I downloaded some burn4free program which also gave me an error. I have been able to burn cd's and video dvd's fine. I can also play cd's and dvd's fine.then i reinstall Nero and the problem was sloved.

Try updating to the latest version of Nero. I've been using it exclusively and have not had any problems. One of the older versions had an issue when burning an ISO where it auto defaulted as a CD burn and would error that there was insufficient space to burn. The latest version took care of this. Granted it still defaults as CD compilation when burning an ISO, but you just have to choose DVD from the drop down and it will burn fine.
