You're on Vista or XP?
Remember to restart the PC after the change
Even rebooting the PC still without extensions yet unchecked and I see I like extensions of my files.
Still a mystery to computer science.
A solution?
It should make a change in the registry.
IMPORTANT! Make a backup of the registry prior to any manipulation.
- Start -> Run. Enter the command: regedit and OK.
- Positioning on the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced.
- In the right pane, click the value: HideFileExt.
- Enter the data = 0, validate OK, close regedit and restart Windows.
File extensions should now be displayed.
Good HideFileExt problem I have two, one is 1 (the first) and the other to 0 (the second)
I deleted on 1 it is systematically
I changed (the one that is 1) to be at 0, it is always 1.
Even after the restart ....
Doctor, this is not normal? if?
