No spell checker in word 2007 installed on old computer

Hello, I have a fairly old computer (sorry can not be more clear) that I used a version of Word 97. Today I was installing a version of Word 2007, but there is no spell checker. It is not that it does not work or is not configured correctly, I checked. It is simply absent. How do I download and install simply please? Thank you to you.

Check to make sure that you don't have No Proofing checked under Languages setting for the document.

And note that you must select all the text in the document and then clear the "Do not check spelling and grammar" box to make sure this applies to all the text.

the dictionary must be in the directory Uproof its path is at my C: \ documents and settings \ me \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Uproof. You can check right click on start, so explore. If you find it, open Word, click the ball on the top left, options, verification, and personal dictionaries in the window that opens add. If it is not in documents and settings it will try to get it at the CD office this folder contains 8 files 1 text that should handle exceptions. Alternatively, office functions as a diagnostic of the installation.

It may be the same for Office 2007, but in Office 2003, if you go to add/remove programs and click remove, it brings up a menu to add/remove additional components. Click the custom install and make sure the spell checking functions are all enabled.
