Yahoo Messenger is not getting installed

Hi friends I am already having an yahoo messenger installed on my PC. It was working fine before two days ago .But when I came back and try to open yahoo messenger it was not getting opened , at the same time I tried to download new version also but it’s still not working.

Following are my PC Configuration.

Intel Dual Core 2.4 Ghz.
1gb RAM.
120gb HDD.

Sure i will help you with that is your firewall "ON". If yes than make it OFF and try to install it,I guess it will work for you.
