Showing "password error" in Outlook 2007

Hi I am facing an issue with outlook 2007 whenever I am trying to login with my username and password its shows an error message as “Password Error”. But if I am using an webmail with the same username and password its working fine so can anyone tell what the issue and can provide me with a perfect solution.

no i haven't change and where to go for changing the store password can you direct me for the same. It would really appreciate your help.

Sure i will help you out with this you just need to follow the steps which are:-

1. Start Microsoft Outlook. Select on a tool bar "Tools -> Account Settings..." .
   
2. Select the E-mail account you wish to modify and press the "Change..." button.
   
3. Replace the entry in the "Password" field (which will always be shown as dots or asterisks with your new/current password.
   
4. Click "Next", then close the window to apply this change. Verify that the email is accessible now.
