How Can I Hide the list of recent documents when opening files within Word 2007.

    Hi,

I am using Microsoft Word 2007.
When clicking the Office button at the top-left of Microsoft Word 2007, the right-pane of the popup menu displays the recently-modified documents.

I share my machine with others,
so For privacy reasons if i want to Hide the list of recent documents when opening files from within Word 2007, How can i do that?

    Thanks.

You can do it by using the following steps.

    • Access the Microsoft Word 2007 Options menu.
    • Select "Advanced" in the left pane.
    • Scroll down to the "Display" section.
    • Next to "Show this number of Recent Documents", enter "0".
    • Click "OK" to save your settings.
