| How To Move IE7 Favorites
Hello, I can not move my Favorites from my system partition / prog C: partition to my Documents E:. I created a Favorites folder ( pretty little star ) On E: and this is an issue which I copied / pasted from another computer. Right click on the icon in Document and Setting my account does nothing: cannot "move" in properties and nothing to do either. How to make IE7 pointing to my Favorites folder on E:. Thank you in advance

What operating system you have? You just want to make a backup or continuously put your favorites in this case? with Vista there is "Location" and not "move"

I have XP SP2 (Home) and yes I want IE7 systematically edge to that folder on E: to get my Favorites and my links not just a backup. And I have no more "Location" and "Move" in properties in which there is no possibility to move.

Under XP it must go through the Registry Editor. There is no other way. HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders There's a key called Favorites in there, pointing to %USERPROFILE%\Favorites, which is the storage folder by default bookmarks.
