open docx with Office 2003

Hello Everybody , Can Anybody please tell me How To Read / open Docx Document in Microsoft office 2003 . actually my Friend has given me some document to read but it was saved in docx as my friend had office 2007 installed in his pc. so i m unable to open it with in my pc as i have office 2003 also i have other version of office like office 2002 , office 2000 but no progress so far please help thanks in advance .

Contrary to popular belief among users of Office 2003, you do not have to purchase Office 2007 docx to read.

For the sake of compatibility, Microsoft has made in November 2007 to provide a patch users can read and save documents in new formats with Office 2003.

This patch, called "Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats", is downloadable for free from Microsoft.
