Issue with Norton Internet Security 2008 Installation

Hi all
When i purchased my Acer laptop the NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2007 was already installed on it free for 3 months , Now I bought Norton Internet Security 2008 . So Should I uninstall Norton INTERNET SECURITY 2007 before installing version Norton Internet Security 2008 or will installed on existing version automatically.

To successfully install Norton Internet Security 2008, your system must meet the following minimum requirements:

Basic requirements for Windows XP:

• Windows XP Home Edition or Professional Edition
• 300-MHz or faster processor
• 256 MB of RAM
• 350 MB of hard disk space

Basic requirements for Windows Vista:

• 1 GHz or higher processor
• 512 MB RAM
• 350 MB of available hard disk space

Prepare your system for installation

1. Remove any other antivirus(means your existing antivirus) or firewall programs that are installed.
   
2. To remove them, click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove programs. In the list of current installed programs, click other antivirus or firewall programs, and then click Remove.
   
3. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet.
   
4. Exit all open programs on your computer, except for your Web browser.

Now Install and activate Norton Internet Security. Good luck
