activex error 19166

I receive a 19166 error when trying to install flash player? Does anyone have a fix for this? Using a Dell inspiron laotop w/Windows XP.

Hi,

First, Uninstall with Adobe's Flash Player Uninstaller:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe

Then Then re-install the full version of flash player :
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...r_active_x.msi

Use ccleaner to clear the registry.This may be useful for the Flash problem. If you have another utility you rather use to backup your registry, then please do so before you proceed to the next step.
