Automatic execution.

Hello,

I have a little problem with little importance in itself, with automatic execution.

When I use an external HD or SD removable, no window to run automatically opens normally choose an option for opening files.

As against, when using the CD-ROM, this feature only works with audio files, video or blank cd .. when the CD contains images or other files (except for autorun) this does not ..

I put all the default options and I spent as "AutoFix.exe" Microsoft does not signal any problem ..

If you could get information, it would be nice ...

The properties of My Computer

01) Click on "Start" then "My Computer".
02) Right click on the drive and choose "Properties".
03) Click on the tab "AutoPlay".
04) In the menu, decide what to do for each type of CD.

The registry - the key "Cdrom"

01) Open the Registry
02) Go to the branch "HKLM \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Cdrom"
03) Edit DWORD Value "Autorun" with the number 1

The registry - the key "Explorer"

01) Open the Registry
02) Go to the branch "HKCU \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer"
03) Double click NoDriveTypeAutoRun on the right page
04) Check that the value is 0x00000091 (hexadecimal)

The registry - the key "Winlogon"

01) Open the Registry
02) Go to the branch "HKLM \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon"
03) Edit DWORD Value "allocatecdroms" with the number 0

But normally "autofix" would solve your problem.
