Office 2007 Genuine Validation ActiveX Control

I am trying to download the PDF converter extentsions for Office 2007, prior to this the site attempts to install the OGA activeX control. IE never prompts with the infobar requesting to install the activeX control. Microsoft Office update is the only site I have this problem.

Does anybody have a solution for this - it's doing my head in!

Have you tried some other sites to download the same? Also what happens after installing the activex control?

the first time you request a genuine Windows or genuine Office download from the Download Center or Windows Update, you will be asked to install an ActiveX control. The ActiveX controls used by Windows Genuine Advantage and by Office Genuine Advantage are signed by Microsoft Corp. If you do not see sufficient evidence of the Microsoft signature, you should not download the control.

EINSTEIN_007: No, I haven't tried any other sites to download this control - I would have assumed MS would have kept it under their control. I will look into that one.

Effren: My problem is that I am not offered the oppurtunity to download it. The download page just acts as if there is nothing to download. I have not had a problem with downloads on any other site - just ones using OGA.
