    Exclamation Master and Sub projects

I have a large project that someone else created and I want to split it up into several smaller projects then link them all back together in a master project. Is there any way that I can do this and preserve the existing links between the tasks, including ones that will become inter-projects links?

    Hasib,

    Thank you for replying.

I have already looked at all the Project pages from Microsoft. They only tell you how to insert sub projects into master ones. They do not tell you how to split a big project into smaller ones and retain the links between what become the smaller sub projects.

    Any other thoughts?

    Hi karen ,
See if in your project there is the possibilities of links between parts what becomes the smaller sub projects. So better is you make sub projects only and then link them. And i also never heard to split Master project into sub projects.
