The new version 2.7 of the platform free WordPress Blog enriched by a number of significant news. Published day before yesterday, this update includes a major overhaul of the administration interface and a function automatic update.
The administration interface is now customizable on the fly by simply dragging and check box. It is possible to make changes by lot on tickets (adding tags and categories for example) or comments (mass approval) and respond directly from the administration interface.
True cornerstone of blogs, reviews have retained the attention of the 150 developers who have worked on this version (a record in the history of WordPress). They are now hierarchical form (in the form of threads in English), replies to a message are grouped under the latter instead of being simply classified chronologically. Pagination comments also appeared, avoiding loading pages and longer.
On another note, the themes and extensions (plugins) can now be installed with one click directly from a browser integrated into the administration interface. Ability to retain a ticket to one (first) has also been included as standard, while it previously required a plug-third.
Several other updates aesthetic and ergonomic, on the margins of various bug fixes are also involved. The retail news is available on the official blog, on which it is also possible to download the archive to install on its own accommodation. Finally, WordPress 2.7 is already deployed on the platform hosting free WordPress.com, which get an idea before launching.
