Outlook 2002: problem with Gmail account

Hi,

I just set my Gmail account in outlook and it goes something odd.
When I check my mail, it works well. But if I check my mail again, they'll download new messages (so far is normal) but also the mails that I have already downloaded.

You have an idea of the solution?

in the settings of your Gmail account ... Forwarding and POP in, the option "When messages are accessed with POP" we must tick "archive Gmail's copy".

It was already checked. I put something else when I submitted this option. Same result.
