Extension absent in file types

Hello,
When I click on a file *. wav, it opens a window which of course does not allow me to listen to this file. If I go to the explorer Tools Folder Options to type, to update the extension wav, I can not find it. Do you have an explanation and how to restore it. Thank you in advance

The files .WAV had to be mistakenly associated with some other softwares or file types on your machine. You have to reassociate with your software player. To do this, you do a right click on a file .Wav in the General tab, you kind of file and opens with. You click on the Edit button and select the program that goes well if present, otherwise you go and click on the executable you choose your software program in reading file. Do not forget to check "Always use this program to open this file type.

By default, Windows hides file extensions. You have to enable it by going into your folder toolbar then Select Tools > Folder Options > View > Deselect Hide options for known file types.
