    Project plan with Excel

    Hello!

I try without a little extra planning project to tinker with Excel. It should be a bar plan. Until now stands no more than the idea ...

On the X-axis is the time and on the Y axis of the work packages.
The aim is to establish a value as the start date in column A and then entered into column B, a date value as a deadline.

The bar will not start on the y-axis, but form from the chronology.

So to speak, the function of MS Project lookalike.

Somebody has an idea where I get such a chart or have the capacity to produce it?

    One thousand thanks in advance!

    This goes.
But not as a diagram, but as a colorful out of the box, like a wall calendar. . Although the formulas for you paint. You can put away the crayons again.
I send times you a template that you can expand.

Visio whether in the form of demand may, I do not know.
Whether it goes faster with Visio, I doubt.

My solution is to create about 1 hour, nothing has tasted, is infinitely flexible and has had several happy users.

Please write to me, but all that you get the project plan did, whether it is good, what is good what is bad, what more could be made as to whether more "features" would be useful.
