l33t Need Help Creating Shortcut in MS Word03'..

    Good Day,

I'd like to create a button in MS Word 03' that would act like a shortcut used for accessing a template saved on a fileserver. I'd like to create 5 buttons like this for 5 differnet templates. If it is possible to, I'd like these 5 different buttons to be available in a drop down menu so their names do not take up so much space on the toolbar sectiion of my MS Word. Any suggestions?

    Many Thanks,

    Ellsworth

    Fabian,

That seems to help some though the button is created inside of the new document and not on the toolbar. Do you know how to make it appear on the toolbar? Also I'm not sure how and exactly where I paste in the path to the shared template on the Click event. Any thoughts?

    Chroma,

Thank you for your post but I'm referring to buttons inside word that act as a shortcut to a data file(word template).

    Thank you both,

    Ellsworth
