Firefox 3.1, whose release is scheduled for the end of the year, continues its development and if the second beta was postponed, the version reserved for developers suggest new features.
In addition to a JavaScript engine called ultra-rapid TraceMonkey, a navigation mode or private support for new properties stylesheet (CSS 2.1 and CSS 3.0) and HTML 5.0 (tags video and audio) Firefox 3.1 will carry a better manager tabs. In the second beta it is now possible to detach a tab bar to open it in a new window or perform the same operation right click. This feature is already available in the Safari browser and Google Chrome.
One of the main objectives of Firefox 3.1 will indeed improve navigation and this little novelty added a shortcut CTRL + Tab to switch tab from the keyboard or a button to display stickers all open tabs.
