    Closing automatic download manager of Firefox

    Hey can anybody tell me how to switch off the Internal download manager of a firefox. I really need to close it because I use IDM and sometimes it starts without my confirmation.

    Closing automatic download manager of Firefox

    Here's how to program the automatic closure manager download Firefox 3 once all downloaded files:

    1. Open Firefox 3

    2. In the address bar, type about: config and press by [Enter]

    3. Click "It promised, I will be careful!"

    4. In the long list of parameters, locate the browser.download.manager.closeWhenDone

    5. Double-click it to toggle the value to True

    6. Click OK


    Note: You can always recall the Download Manager by pressing the key combination [Ctrl] + [J].
