The images of my icons have disappeared

Hello,
The images of my icons Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint ...) have disappeared. Applications start when I double click it but I have more icon drawing the appropriate application or Microsoft on the desktop or in the start menu... Someone can help me please? Thank you in advance.

Try to restart your PC, the icons are stored in the cache, and sometimes it works by restarting which solves the problem.
or
Restoration of the system at an earlier date will do the trick.

There is a setting for the desktop that you might have inadvertantly clobbered. Here's how to get them back:

1. Right-click on the desktop to bring up its context menu
2. Select Arrange Icons By to bring up a second context menu
3. Check "Show Desktop Icons"

When you click on start does a box open with the different programs icons? What operating system are you using?
